Reading led me to study to be an English Teacher at Canisius College

I read every Junie B. Jones book ever written in 1st grade

I started playing the clarinet in 4th grade. Music was important to me at a young age, but it became a bigger part of my life when I joined the marching band.

This is Vlad. He came from the Ukraine and joined our marching band. He spoke very little English. Because of him I also have a concentration in Spanish and plan to get my Master's in TESOL.

"Only you can ruin your day"

In 7th grade I read 125 books and won 5 personal pan pizzas from pizza hut. I was the shy girl with her nose always stuck in a book.
